This fluffy friend can't wait to settle into a quiet home with a new bestie. Generally inexperienced with change or meeting new people up to this point, Blitz has found her arrival at the shelter stressful and has been feeling rather shut-down. In the past, she was known to solicit attention from her trusted caregiver with some nice leg-rubs and also had a cute playful side. Her perfect adopter will offer her patience and a hands-off approach while Blitz is settling in and learning to trust her new humans.
Blitz is used to living in an environment with many other cats, and is highly recommended for a home with another welcoming kitty or two to help her gain confidence. At this time, she's available to a household with kids aged 10+ or no kids. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 8.40625 Age: 2yrs 4mths 1wks

Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter and first vaccines, medical exam, and microchip.
How to Adopt from Foothills Animal Shelter:
Visit the Shelter or one of our offsite adoption partner locations to find a pet. Once you’ve decided on an animal, you should check with staff to see the status and history of the animal. At this time, you can fill out an adoption application and visit with the animal.
We recommend you bring all family members to the Shelter to meet with the animal before you consider adopting. If you are interested in adopting a dog, bring any household dogs to the Shelter to determine if it is a good match. Also, if you rent your home, please bring the pet policy in your lease or rental agreement and contact information for your landlord.
Once your application is reviewed, you can pay the adoption fees and take your new pet home. It may take some time for your new pet to adjust to its new environment. If you have questions or concerns after adopting, please contact us at 303-278-7575.
