My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Message for details:
Clyde is available for adoption in a foster home. To adopt him , please call us at 619 299 7012 or email us at sdcadoptions@sdhumane.org and provide a good callback number so we can contact you with information for meeting Clyde.

How Clyde arrived:
Clyde was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team.

Why Clyde might be the one for you:
Clyde came to us shy and looking a little worse for wear. He is now in a foster home where his foster mom says he has turned into a total lap cat and his new photos will show a beauty. This now handsome guy is looking for a quiet, calm place to settle down. Clyde is on the older side, and likes to spend most of his time cuddled up in his blankets and napping. He still has a playful side in him though and will surprise you as he chases toys and imaginary prey. You might find a toy mouse on your pillow.. He will do best in a quiet environment with no young kids, kittens or puppies. If you would like a cat companion as you enjoy your quiet time - maybe streaming movies, reading, or computer scrolling, Clyde would like to join you. If you can add a soft bed for Clyde in the sun, he will be grateful. Want a comfortable cat to join your comfortable life? Contact us at the above info and we will arrange for you and Clyde to spend some quiet time.

At SDHS:
Clyde has been vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/neutered and is now ready for his new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
