My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Tasier was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team.

Why Tarsier might be the one for you:
Meet Tarsier, a sweet girl looking for a home to help her thrive. She may be a bit reserved at first, but warms up quickly to an extended hand. From there she offers up her face for cheek rubs. She really likes cheek rubs. From there it is on to rollovers for belly rubs and full body pets. Yes, we know her eyes are often really big and we can tell you about why. It is part of her uniqueness. She is looking for a home that will appreciate her calm and curious nature. She is looking for people who also think her big eyes are unique. If Tarsier sounds like a great companion cat for you, come by and meet her today! She is waiting.

At SDHS:
Tarsier has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. She is now ready for her new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
