My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clark, from our Christmas Vacation litter, is an adorable little guy bursting with a confident personality! Right now, hes having a blast being fostered with his playful brother, Cousin Eddie, and his sweet sister, Ruby Sue. As the most mature of the bunch, Clark often takes on the role of a big brother. Clark absolutely loves zooming around the house, crawling under furniture, and enjoying playtime with his siblings and their giant 90-pound foster brother. After all the excitement of playtime, Clark gives the warmest snuggles, which will remind you how wonderful it is to have a loving companion by your side! When it comes to crate training, he might cry a bit at first but will settle in and sleep through the night. Hes also making great strides with potty training every day! After all the excitement of playtime, Clark gives the warmest snuggles, which will remind you how wonderful it is to have a loving companion by your side! He would rather be with his siblings rather than alone, so a home with other furry friends would be best for Clark. We estimate that this litter was born around end of September and that they'll be 40-60 lb full-grown. We never saw their parents and are unsure of their exact breed mix. Our best guess is that they are Pit mixes (mutts). DNA results pending! Clark will complete his vet care on Monday, January 6th, 2025 and then be ready to go to his forever home a day or two later depending on how he's feeling. Our puppy adoption fee is $300. If you're interested in adopting, please submit an application at savedbyfate.org and we'll be in touch ASAP! A meet with any approved applicant's current pets and entire family will be required prior to starting the 2-week adoption trial period. Please visit our website savedbyfate.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Additional adoption info

SBF adoptions start off with a 2-week trial period to ensure that the SBF dog is a good fit for your family and current pets. The adoption fee is due the day an adopter starts the 2-week trial period. If the adoption does not work out within those two weeks, the adopter will be refunded all but a $50 donation, or they can put the fee towards another adoptable dog.

More about this rescue

Saved by Fate is a dog rescue organization in Central Kentucky that specializes in pulling dogs at high risk of euthanasia from Kentucky shelters. SBF was founded by Mara DeLaus and Ciara Hagedorn in 2022. After years of volunteering for a fellow organization, they saw a significant need for additional rescue resources in their area. SBF is an entirely foster and volunteer based organization that does not have a physical location or kennel at this time.
