My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Courtesy post:

Meet Corby! This adorable boy was recently saved off a Southern California euthanasia list. Completely overlooked while in the shelter, Corby is a good boy, both with people and other dogs. He is currently in a foster home with a female Shepherd.

Staff notes on Corby:
+ playful and energetic
+ like a puppy when around other dogs
+ easy to leash and walk
+ takes treats gently
+ Happy boy, easy to care for
Just waiting for his new home, hopefully with other fur siblings.
Clean and quiet in kennel. I placed him with a young male dog and they both did well together instantly.
He's easy to leash and walk by the other dogs. Wanted to meet many of them. Showed no aggression. Nice boy!

Corby is currently in a foster home in North County. Please inquire if interested in giving him a forever home.

Additional adoption info

Upon initial inquiry on one of our pets, we begin the process by having all potential adopters complete an adoption application. If approved, we then set up a face to face meeting with the pet you are interested in. A home and yard check is required prior to adoption. Once adoption is finalized, an adoption fee is collected, an adoption contract is agreed to and signed by both parties, and the animal is turned over to it's new adoptive owner/family. Follow ups take place during the first month to insure the pet and the household is adjusting to the pet, and any issues, questions or concerns are addressed.
