My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Randall, a dignified chihuahua who found himself in a scary shelter when his owners passed away.

This little gentleman can be a 10/10 on the grump-o-meter, but don’t let his grumpy old man vibes fool you—he’s a total sweetheart (once you’re in his inner circle).

Randall is a pro at the finer things in life: lounging, napping, and claiming laps for extended cuddle sessions. While he’s usually quiet, he has a secret talent—occasionally “talking” in a voice that sounds like a French Bulldog lol

He’s crate trained, potty trained, and moves at his own leisurely pace. Other dogs are great in his book, but rowdy big dogs with bad manners? Hard pass. He’ll let them know with his signature sass.

He prefers a child-free kingdom where people respect his boundaries. If he doesn’t like something, he’ll growl & sometimes snap to let you know - although I really don’t think he intends to bite - just has no other way to communicate.

If you’re looking for a low-maintenance, high-character companion who’s as snuggly as he is sassy, Randall might just be your perfect match!

He’s 7-9 years old. His adoption will include vaccines, microchip, neuter and a dental cleaning. He has a heart murmur and will need meds for life. They’re low cost and he takes them easily so don’t let this talk you out of giving him his retirement home 🥰

More about this rescue

The Pet Knot was forged to combine efforts of like-minded rescues and volunteers humbly striving to make a dent in the urgent pet over-population crisis. Our talents and strategies promote animal adoptions through online, in-store, and boutique-like options for adopters. All animals receive the highest level of medical care and grooming. Animals also receive appropriate adjustment time and basic social skills in foster homes in preparation for a new home environment. We help all animals including seniors, special needs, and those seemingly unadoptable cases and work diligently to place each in the most appropriate permanent home possible no matter how long it takes. We call ourselves The Pet Knot because not only do we connect people with pets, we keep people with pets.

The Pet Knot consists of The Pet Knot and Paw Promise animal rescue working together.
