My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Strudel, a sensitive and thoughtful boy with a personality all his own. He enjoys attention, but only on his own terms, and when things get too hectic, you'll often find him retreating to his bed for a peaceful break from the action. Despite his need for downtime, Strudel is also playful and loves to wrestle with his siblings and seek out affection. If Strudel were human, he’d be the kind of introvert who prefers a small, close-knit circle of friends. He’s the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a calm, gentle spirit with a touch of playful energy.

More about this shelter

The Mary S. Roberts Pet Adoption Center (formerly the Riverside Humane Society) is an Adoption Guarantee Organization that takes in healthy, adoptable animals.

All of our animals are spayed or neutered, updated on all vaccinations and microchipped upon adoption. They enjoy indoor, comfortable kennels and are socialized by volunteers on a regular basis.

Our mission is to eliminate the suffering of homeless cats and dogs by:

•Providing humane care for pets in transition
•Facilitating adoptions to loving homes
•Providing humane and pet overpopulation education to the public
•Supporting sterilization of companion animals
