Boomerang is a 6 month old Labradoodle (Labrador Retriever x Miniature Poodle mix) who can’t wait to hit you with love before coming back for more! Boomerang was rescued from the shelter where he was surrendered for reasons unknown. We saw this adorable puppy dog eyes and knew we couldn’t leave without him, so we scooped him up and broke him out of his kennel! Boomerang weighs 24 pounds and we expect he will end up around 35-40 pounds when he is fully grown. Boomerang resembles so many first generation Doodles we have seen come through our rescue. He will shed a little less and has a wonderfully fun temperament so come and grab your Boomerang today!

Boomerang is a puppy who perfectly combines intelligence with sweetness to create the most perfect little buddy! Boomerang loves to play and has a zest for life that is unmatched by most other dogs. He is so happy to wake up and start every day that it’s impossible not to smile your way through life with him. When Boomerang isn’t playing or wagging his tail in delight, he’s cuddling on your lap and watching TV with you. Boomerang is such a confident pup that he will make you the talk of the town as you stroll down the street. He is playful and would love a huge collection of toys in his forever home. Our boy Boomerang deserves only the very best, as he is a total Romeo! He’s also a super fast learner and wants to make you happy every minute of his day. Boomerang’s foster parents absolutely gush about him any chance they get and that’s just a testament to how amazing his personality and temperament is. He makes everyday better just by wagging his tail through them!

Boomerang wakes up at 6 AM for a potty and leg-stretch stroll. He eats breakfast and then has a play session with the resident dog. They love to take a nap together once they’ve gotten their morning doodle zoomies out. Once he’s up, he goes out for another potty session and then has his lunchtime snack. He plays off and on for the rest of the afternoon as he takes frequent water breaks and toy tossing siestas. He has dinner around 5 PM and then plays as his humans eat dinner. Once he starts to wind down, he cuddles on the couch until he’s ready for bed. He goes out for one last potty and then heads to his crate.

Boomerang is very intelligent and eager-to-please which has delighted his foster parents. He quickly figured out the leash and a few tricks! He loves playing with the resident dog and napping with her as well! He loves the cat as well! Boomerang is super human social and greets everyone with puppy enthusiasm. Boomerang walks well on a leash and is working on his potty training. Boomerang’s ideal home is one ready for the adventure of a lifetime hanging with this perfect boy! Come meet Boomerang so he can change your life!

Boomerang is an option for homes with prior dog owning experience. Kids should be over the age of 7.

More about this rescue

We are passionate folks who love dogs and love people! We strive to make the most appropriate match between human and canine. Because our dogs live in foster homes we know about their temperament and personality and therefore can help families and individuals decide if the dog is a good match or not. We are excited to help people find the right pooch for them and look forward to meeting great folks and welcoming them into the DPS Family.
