My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Penny! This sweet and easy-going senior is looking for a loving home to enjoy her golden years. While she’s a bit of a couch potato, Penny has a friendly and affectionate personality. She loves spending time with people, greeting them with excitement and rolling over for belly rubs.

Penny is an independent, gentle dog who enjoys the company of others. She’s a relaxed walker who takes her time sniffing during short neighborhood strolls. Penny has been diagnosed with Degenerative Mitral Valve Disease (DMVD) and is on medication to support her heart health, but she remains happy and content in her foster home. She’s calm, housetrained, and well-behaved, with no issues when left alone.

Penny would thrive in a calm, loving home that appreciates her laid-back nature. She’s a low-maintenance, affectionate companion who’d be perfect for someone who enjoys short walks and cuddles. Penny is a wonderful dog with a heart of gold, ready to be your loyal, loving friend.
