Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
She is sweet, she is petite, she knows her cuteness can’t be beat. She is ✨Diane✨
The rest of Diane’s family, The Office’s Angela’s kittens, has all been posted for a while now, & most of her family has got adopted. If you’ve forgotten their story, let’s remind you! Another rescuer saved Diane, her mom, & her 4 surviving siblings from a home with deplorable living conditions. All of them were emaciated, sick, & covered in fleas. Diane’s family grew eventually when the 6 of them were joined with 4 more kittens, whose mother died after being hit by a car, after our mandatory quarantine period.
Diane is a fan favorite! Everyone who meets her falls in love with her instantly (& vise versa)! Diane is very friendly, very outgoing, very inquisitive, very naughty, very spunky, & very filled with love, happiness, & energy! Diane is ALWAYS trying to be by your side, laying in your lap, & climbing on your shoulders - basically she wants to smother you with love & perhaps some unexpected sneezy boogers. Diane does THE cutest thing…. When you go to pick her up under her armpits, she does a BIIIIIG stretch. It truly is the most adorable thing. Diane is the valedictorian of her class at the Muffin Making Academy. She is high energy, always down to cause a ruckus, & loves loves loves literally anything & everything that can maybe possibly sorta be a toy. Diane was one of the two runts of the litter & has always been behind her siblings in weight & size. She struggled for a long time with a nasty URI, which has left her chronically snuffly & snotty. She’s gotten a clean bill of health from the vet, but just know that she may get flare ups from time to time & would benefit from daily Lysine in her food. She has a small, rounder head & almost a flatter face like her mom, Angela (vs a pointed face that can be more typical for regular DSH cats).
Diane would do well in any home. She would need adopted with a foster sibling or adopted into a home with another very active cat that can keep up with her. She is definitely a stage 5 clinger, so expect Diane to be near you whenever she can be. She would do great with children of all ages, but her adopter will have to keep up on nail trims (which she does well with). We also believe that she could do well with dogs, with proper intros!
Diane is apprx 6 months old, spayed, FIV/FELV tested negative, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, & flea treated. She’s been to the vet for her upper respiratory issues & has been given a clean bill of health by them. If this little ball of joy & energy sounds like a match for your home, apply for her today!

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.
2.

We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.
3.
Interview
We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.
4.
Meet the Pet
Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.
5.
Sign Adoption Contract
At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!

Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
