What my friends at ACC say about me:
My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!
I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!
I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.
I don't always like to share my food, toys or bedding with other animals.
My #BoroughBreak Buddy Writes: We took Rocky on a Borough Break, and he is such a sweet good boy! We walked to Carl Schurz park for a picnic for a couple of hours and then walked back to our apartment for naps and cuddles. Rocky got lots of compliments on how handsome he is! He is a very curious walker, excited to be outside and smelling new things. He had mild leash pulling, but was not reactive to other dogs or people. He is calm, took two big naps, and had lots of fun playing with toys and getting belly rubs. He already knew how to sit for treats and shake, and he was well behaved when we ate lunch near him. Rocky would be the perfect companion for someone who wanted a pup that could be energetic and play and also take naps with cuddles. He could benefit from some leash training, but clearly already knows some commands! We were sad to say goodbye to this sweetheart at the end of the day and we hope he finds his family soon.
My foster writes:
Hi, I'm Rocky! I am a big lover boy who's looking for his furever home. I'm the ultimate lazy dog who can sleep all day (I'm a champ at sleeping in), but when it's time to go outside and be active, I'm ready to rock. I love to sniff anything I can put my nose in, and I'm super curious about everything. I'll happily sit for you on command and let you clean my paws after a walk. I LOVE snuggles, and I'll follow you around anywhere at home - even the bathroom. I'm a lap dog at heart, even at 46 lbs. I love to give hugs when you're sitting down - I'll crawl in your lap and ask for pets.
