My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Arizona was brought in by a community member.

Why Arizona might be the one for you:
Arizona is called Margot in her foster home where she is doing well. She is a sweet girl with a big heart and an even bigger desire to shower you with love! This affectionate pup thrives on close connection and will happily climb into your lap to give the best face kisses around. She will be best in a patient and loving home where she can feel safe and share her snuggly nature. She is house trained. She does not like to go out if it is cold but she is getting better about it. She gets excited when you first start petting her because she loves it so much but then she rag dolls to the floor and zones into relaxation. If you're ready for a loyal companion who just wants to be by your side (or in your lap!), this lady can't wait to meet you!

At SDHS: Arizona (or Margot) is in a foster home. To meet her, call us at 619 299 7012 or email us at sdcadoptions@sdhumane.org. Leave a good call back number so we can contact you and arrange for you and the cuddlie bug to meet.
She has been vaccinated, microchipped spayed/neutered and is now ready for her new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
