Introducing the delightful and dainty China, a 1-year-old Chihuahua mix who is sure to steal your heart 🐾❤️ This sweet, social, and funny pup is a bundle of energy and endless enthusiasm, her tail wagging excitedly and her big, expressive eyes shining with joy.
When China first arrived, her story was a heartbreaking one - she had been severely starved and was in poor physical condition. However, despite the trauma she endured, China has shown an incredible resilience and gratitude that is truly inspiring to witness.
China's zest for life is palpable in every wag of her tail and every bounce of her step. Whether she's racing around the yard, playing a spirited game of fetch, or simply lounging in a sunny spot, this girl radiates pure, unadulterated happiness. RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to:

A potential adopter will submit an application. A vet reference is very helpful and will speed the adoption process along. Once approved, a phone interview will be conducted and the adopter will sign a contract. Transport will then be scheduled to bring the new pet home.
