My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

- Can be shy at first but warms up quickly and once she makes a friend she's as sweet and wiggly as can be; likes to sit in laps and get hugs and pets

- Loves toys and can keep herself entertained; likes to play-growl when playing tug

- Loves treats and loves you if you have treats!

- Was a media star and did great on a recent news segment

- Knows sit and does well on a leash

- Has done well with like-minded dog friends and would probably benefit from a confident dog friend in her home

All adoptable dogs and puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and DA2PPV as appropriate for their age)

The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
