Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
These sweet girls were part of the "B-side cats from the Burg," a group of 32 cats rescued from living in a car. While most of their friends have found homes, Bernadette and Brandi are still waiting for their perfect family.
When they arrived, they had very tiny kittens with them. Since they were all in the car together, we couldn't be sure which kittens belonged to which mom-so they nursed seven kittens together! Once the babies were weaned, Bernadette and Brandi became inseparable best friends.
These gentle girls are estimated to be just under a year old. They're friendly with other cats, allow all handling, don't mind being picked up, and are happiest when they're cuddled up together.
If you're ready to open your heart to two loving, bonded companions, come meet Bernadette and Brandi today in Tinton Falls, NJ! 🐾 Applications can be filled out in person or online: ahscares.org/adopt ID# 75864, 75865 Primary Color: Tabby Weight: 6.7 Age: 0yrs 9mths 0wks

More about this shelter
The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.
For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused, or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.
The Society is a not-for-profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.
