Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I’m super sad to be posting this. He’s a wonderful dog! But I have to let this beautiful pup move forward with another home or family. I have 5 kids and work full time and am not able to keep up with his sweet energy.
He’s an 18 month pit mix and goes by the name Donnie. He comes almost 100% when you call him any name because he just wants to be with you. He’s amazing with people. All people. Not great with other dogs but has a basset hound brother at the moment that he’s best friends with so he can acclimate to another dog if worked with.
He is high energy dog and needs ALOT of exercise (long walks, short runs or a place to run with no other dogs). I am a runner and have ran with him and he still needs some training in this area.
If he doesn’t get the exercise that he needs he jumps any fence. Even high ones.
He’s on Prozac right now and would need to be weaned off or continued.
He really is a wonderful dog meant to be with someone who has the capacity to give him what he needs.
