Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shimmy is a gorgeous female cat, who enjoys maintaining her beauty sleep and soft coat. When first brought into our home, Shimmy hid under the bed for around 20 minutes before realizing we had wet food and the capacity to scratch her chin. Since then, Shimmy has loved dinner time, being brushed, and melts into every chin scratch she receives. She is also very playful, enjoying tossing around a ball, or viciously attacking bird toys. She is a lover girl at heart and appreciates quality time above all else. She is very curious and loves to look outside the windows. Shimmy dislikes loud noises like the vacuum or sneezing during her naptime. She is gentle, sweet, and adorable. She has been the perfect companion for us and she is ready for her forever home.
Shimmy is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age.

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
