Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
May has a "sister" (October) They often sleep together and groom each other. Both are ~10 years old, front declawed and indoor cats. Would like to see them go together!
May is an incredibly sweet and tolerant cat. She is very gentle and wouldn't ever hurt you. When my wife was home during the day she was snuggly but since then tends to want to be moving around especially with the kids but she's usually nearby. She is curious, athletic and graceful walking on narrow ledges. She loves playing with your hair and flopping around on the floor while you pet her. She enjoys boxes and baskets and draping her front paws over things.
May has been on a low dose of stress meds a few years. Since our child she has been stressed and shortly after we started her on the meds. Without kids she would be happier and could come off then and return to her normal self.
We have a small dog which she will occasionally play with and doesn't seem to mind. Our young kids are definitely the main stressors
