My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate Date of Birth: 6/15/2024

Description:

Lilah was first discovered peeking out from the tire well of a car with her brother. They were savvy little kittens, staying well hidden and taking many weeks to catch. Lilah has been a sweet and mellow girl from the beginning that would start up a loud and contented purr with no effort at all. She is an easy-keeper, making few demands, but is the sweetest little cuddler. Although a little opinionated at times, she is very affectionate and purrs at the slightest attention. She is playful, although much prefers to do it with as little effort as possible. She would rather lay in a cozy spot and watch the world work around her.

Words to Describe Me: sweet, affectionate, cuddly

Favorite Place to Sleep: on a cozy blanket or bed or hammock

Favorite Toy: with enough persistence, she cannot resist a catnip mouse

Perfect Day: laying on a cozy blanket and watching the world around her

Kitty's Likes: head scratches

Kitty's Dislikes: be scratched on her belly

Fastest Way to Get Me to Purr: any attention gets a purr even a look

Favorite Treat: lickable treats

Job Title in Foster: loving sister

When I Grow Up, I Want to Be: loved, cuddled and treated like a princess

Additional adoption info

Go meet their pets

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
