My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Approximate Date of Birth: 6/15/2024

Description:

Major was first discovered hiding in the tire well of a car with his sister. They were savvy little kittens and managed to stay well hidden, taking many weeks to catch. From the beginning Major has been a calm, mellow and easy-going boy. He loves to snuggle under the covers next to someone, enjoying the warmth it offers. Along with his sweet nature, is a little zest which provides entertainment because there is no passion behind it. He is a playful and inquisitive boy that likes to check out all the action going on around him. He is an easy-keeper cuddler that makes few demands, but brings so much joy.

Additional adoption info

Go meet their pets

Some of our "ready to adopt" felines are located at one of our Arizona PetSmart locations. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/locations/

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

We highly recommend applying in advance in order to increase your opportunity at adopting the kitty you are interested in. Applications are processed in the order they were received. If you have questions, please email adoptions@savingonelife.org.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
