Cosmo is a very handsome and happy White Lab mix boy that is 3 years old and 50 pounds. He came from a dreadful shelter in Memphis TN that is very very high kill at the drop of a hat. He was on the euth list because the shelter setting was creating high anxiety for him and he was on and off with some dogs when introduced. He was not neutered and that anxiety has changed a lot. We would say that this smart and people-loving dog would be great living with any female dog and even some males if introduced correctly. We know nothing about his history except that he was a stray at the shelter. He is great on a leash and loves to go for car rides after you help him initially get in. He loves the 6 year old boy at the foster home and is fine with cats. He loves to sleep on the bed and hangout with the family. He is housebroken, crate trained and needs a fenced yard for the freedom of running and regular dog activity. He is very trainable and has been through one session with a trainer/behaviorist who was impressed with all his potential and fast response to corrections and redirecting. He is sort of a different personality since he was neutered. Often that alters and subsides some of the tenseness in male dogs when meeting others. He would be a wonderful family companion and going on hikes, runs, neighborhood walks, etc. would be such a fun daily activity. He is not hyper and could be the perfect winter couch potato at all the right moments. If you are interested in this cream colored Lab please do write to us at Critter Cavalry Rescue, ccrtennessee@gmail.com
PLEASE NOTE: Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted. Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site. The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive. Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com
