Meet Eric, your hunk of love! This 1.5-year-old, 75-pound bundle of energy is here to fill your life with fun and adventure. Eric is everything you’d expect from a classic Husky: playful, excitable, and always ready to run like the wind. His favorite pastimes include jumping, running, and reminding you just how much life is better with a dog by your side.

Eric is dog-friendly and crate-trained, making him a great companion for the right home. While he’s good with people, his boundless energy makes him a better fit for homes without small children. He’s working on his leash manners (he just gets so excited he can’t help himself!) and may pretend not to hear you when you call—because, let’s be honest, it’s all part of his cheeky Husky charm.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to save the lives of dogs facing euthanasia in high-kill shelters nationwide by pledging funds that enable rescues to take in, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need. On occasion, if we do not have a local rescue in place in the city the dogs are in, we bring them to Illinois to avoid their euthanasia. They are placed in boarding for vetting, once done, they are promoted for fostering or adoption.
