My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

1 year old females
In foster care since: February 1, 2024
Good with: dogs, children, cats
Fostered in Dutton, Ontario
Adoption fee: 200

Tauri and Kiromi are two bonded sisters, that have been in foster care for over a year. Wherever one goes, the other is there with her, sometimes even laying on top of eachother. Both love food especially wet food and treats. Lots of treats, which is helpful when getting these two shy sisters to come out and say hi. These girls are very timid and would do well in a quiet home, preferably with no other animals. An apartment or small house would be ideal for them as they are still so shy that they hide. They were rescued as kittens and have had a tough time since then. They have been exposed to other cats, but don’t really enjoy their company and haven’t met the dogs in the foster home as they are still quite fearful. They are sweet girls and they allow their foster to pick them up and cuddle them but everything else still seems to terrify them.

They are both spayed and UTD on all vaccines.

More about this rescue

Baladi & Sled Dog Rescue of Ontario is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, providing veterinary care, and finding loving homes for dogs from the dog sledding industry. We also extend our reach locally by rescuing stray dogs and cats from Indigenous communities that we partner with.

Our rescue began saving street dogs and cats, AKA Baladis, in Egypt. Since the important on animals ban implemented in 2022, we are no longer allowed to bring animals into Canada from Egypt. Our efforts, however, expand globally, as we continue to help support the placement of Baladi's in Egyptian shelters.
