How this pet arrived:
Ellie was brought in by her previous owner on December 21, 2024.
Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Ellie, the dashing bunny with a black-and-white coat and a zest for life! This active little adventurer is ready to hop into his new home. The best way to bond with Ellie is to spend time with her on the floor, and shower her with plenty of greens and Timothy hay! Ellie is a is a domestic rabbit and should be kept indoors. The nice thing about having indoor rabbits is that they can come out of her enclosure for bunny playtime, in a rabbit proof area of the home. It's during this supervised playtime that rabbits often exhibit some of their most fun and interesting behaviors! Ellie will need a large enclosure with free roaming time (bigger is always better) and would love a family who will interact with her daily and groom her often to keep Ellie healthy and social! When rabbits get the space and enrichment they need, they often form deep bonds with their humans! Don't forget to bring a carrier for a safe journey home!
RHDV2 Vaccine: Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2) is a highly contagious disease that can affect rabbits. Due to its presence in San Diego County, all rabbits will receive a mandatory RHDV2 vaccine before adoption. Guests will be charged $14 for this vaccine upon adoption.
