Amber was brought in by a community member on 12/14/2024.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Amber! This sweet girl has been a little shy in our care. Amber is especially shy about the leashing process and it's really important to go slow with her so she gains trust. Associating positive things with leashing and handling will help her get used to the process. Amber is super food and treat motivated so having lots of yummy treats on hand will go a long way. If you would like to meet this beautiful doggie, please visit our Escondido campus.

Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County.
