Meet Max – A Playful, Energetic Companion Looking for a New Home

It breaks my heart, but I need to rehome my dog, Max. He is a lovable and spirited dog who thrives on attention, activity and companionship. He’s 9-years-old, a Cocker Spaniel/Poodle/Maltese mix (Caltepoo), about 20 pounds, and in excellent health.

However, Max has exhibited some challenges in the past with unfamiliar children, including an incident of biting. While we have worked on this behavior and anxiety of children, we believe Max would thrive best in a home with:
An experienced dog owner familiar with training and dog behavior
No young children or new children entering the home
A structured and patient environment
An owner who has time to devote regular attention and playing fetch
