Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Louise is a sweet, chatty girl who loves interactive play. She is most definitely a snuggly cat and likes to sleep next to you in bed.
Louise was a frightened young mama and protective of her baby when she landed in foster care. She spent most of her time hiding, only coming out to eat or use the litter box. As she began to feel safe, Louise would come out from time to time to explore or for brief interactions but, she would run for cover at the slightest perceived threat.
Louise experienced food insecurity and, initially, would quickly gobble up all her food including her baby’s portion. Putting her on consistent feeding schedule has alleviated some of this behaviour and should be continued in her forever home.
Louise has started to relax and decompress. And now that her baby has been adopted, she is slowly revealing her beautiful personality.
Louise loves cheek scratches, head bumps, and rubbing against you but prefers to initiate contact. If uncomfortable, she will recoil. Though she hides, she eagerly comes out to spend time with her foster mom, showing she enjoys human company.
Louise eats Lovibles dry and wet food, preferring beef, and chicken flavors but disliking fish. Her foster mom suggests leaving out a small bowl of dry food between meals. She has about 1 ½ tablespoons of wet food per meal, 4 times daily.
Louise will need your love, patience and understanding while she adjusts to her new home. She would do well in a quiet adult home with folks who can spend time with her.

Additional adoption info
Adoption fee is $200 per adult cat, and $250 for kittens (under 8 months old).
This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!
Note:
-Senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopter's choice, vs. our standard adult adoption fee of $200.
-Our adoption fee for an adult bonded pair (8 months or older) is $150 per cat vs. $200 per cat. Thanks for giving two loving friends a home together!
