Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Hershey! Hershy is about 1 year old, 45 lbs, and he is a Mutt! Hershey was pulled from a high kill shelter. In his foster home, he is working hard on his house-training, crate training and leash walking. He could go to a home with kids 10+ and possibly dogs. No cats please.
His foster says, `Hershey is a sweet boy that does best without a lot of dogs. He has made some sweet friends, mostly large dogs, but has a few small friends too. He does not like little, yappy barkers. Slow introductions are best to find compatible friends. He loves attention from all his humans. He is treat motivated, so basic obedience without other dogs around should be very easy. Don’t let his limp fool you. He can run and play like any other dog. Just watch him run up and down stairs. His limp just adds to his sweet character. He did do well initially with cats indoors when he first came to us. The way he barks at cats now (and any smaller animal) outside of the play yard makes us think otherwise though.`
He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on January 10th. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.
-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises. -Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt. - More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com
