My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

~ I can live in a single family home or condo.
~ I want to live with kids over 10 years of age who are familiar with large and rambunctious dogs.
~ I may like to live with a likeminded dog who has a similar rough and tumble playstyle but I have not had much experience with cats. I may be willing to share my home with a dog savvy feline.
~ I am a high energy kind of dog and am looking for a home where I can get lots of exercise every day.
~ I would do best in a home where someone is

Peanut is a fun-loving, energetic, and cuddly Terrier Mix with a beautiful brindle coat. At 5 years old and 47.8 lbs, she’s ready to bring her spunky personality and lots of love to the right home. Peanut enjoys being brushed and will happily curl up for some quality cuddle time, but she`s also a social butterfly who thrives on attention and adventure.

Previously, Peanut lived with older kids and did very well, so she would do best in a home with children over 10 years old who are familiar with energetic and rambunctious dogs. She’s also lived with one other dog and would enjoy having a likeminded companion who can keep up with her rough-and-tumble playstyle. However, she can get a little too rough during play, so she may be too much for younger children or other animals. Peanut has no experience with cats but may be willing to share her home with a dog-savvy feline.

Peanut is a higher-energy dog who loves getting out for walks, especially through the woods, and is a fan of car rides and chewing on Nylabones. Peanut loves meeting new people, so much so that she`ll need some training to help her manage her excitement, as she tends to pull on the leash and jump up a bit. Peanut is still working on her potty training, so she’ll need to be taken out on a regular basis.

Despite her higher energy, Peanut has a couch potato side and loves lounging around after an exciting play session. She may be vocal at times, but she’ll always make sure you know how much she loves you.

Peanut needs a home where someone is around often to provide the attention and exercise she craves. If you`re looking for a loving, energetic companion who’s always up for a good playtime or snuggle session, Peanut might just be your perfect match!
