My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

12/21/24 This little hamster is Bernadette! Bernadette arrived at the shelter with another hamster named Amy after being abandoned in an apartment. While Amy and Bernadette arrived from the same home, they should not be housed together. Hamsters are territorial, solitary animals. There has been a lot of new research on proper hamster care that has come out in just the last five years. We highly recommend looking up this new research prior to adopting. Some of the new recommendations include: a minimum of 600 sq in floor space (or about the size of a 40g breeder tank or larger), a wheel at least 12in in diameter, and no tubes! If you are interested in meeting either Amy or Bernadette, please give the shelter a call!December 21, 2024, 6:17 pm
