My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oreo is a super friendly playful kitten.  He has beautiful soft long fur.  He loves to roll around and reach out to say hello.  Oreo likes kids and other cats, he doesn't mind dogs.  He loves to play with his toys.

Hawk is the quietest of the group.  He is very chill.  Hawk enjoys snuggling, purring and playing.  He has a little grey beard under his chin.  Hawk is good with kids, other cats and doesn't mind dogs.

Interested in meeting the kittens? All of our cats are in foster homes - we do not have a facility where you can come to meet them. The first step in the process is to complete our online application at https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/cat-adoption-application
(you will need to cut and past this link into your browser window to get started)

The adoption fee of $330 for the pair includes /neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new cat for your family.

Although we make the best guess on the breed of our cats, because they come from shelters, we can never be completely certain of the genetic makeup of the cat. All we can tell you for sure is that they are 100% RESCUED!

Go meet their pets

We are not a shelter. We are a group of pet lovers and advocates who are committed to targeted rescue. Starfish Animal Rescue is a licensed rescue that is run by an all volunteer staff.
Once we rescue a dog or cat, it is placed in one of our foster homes until we are able to find it a suitable home. We are happy to set up an appointment to meet our pets once we receive and review your completed application.

We do our best to process applications quickly but please understand that we are a foster based rescue and that our volunteers work jobs; many are full time. Sending in a completed application is the best way to facilitate this process. You can go on our website www.starfishanimalrescue.com and download an application
Once your application is reviewed, we will put you in contact with the dog's foster family to set up a time to meet the pet of your choice!
Thank you for supporting our rescue and what we are trying to accomplish in southeastern Kentucky.
