My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hammy! Hammy is a ~6 month old Syrian hamster looking for a forever home.

Syrian hamsters make ideal pets for adults or older children, as they are prey animals that are primarily active at night, and appreciate a gentle and quiet human. They are very active animals, capable of traveling MILES in a single night in the wild. Because of this, it's important that they have a spacious cage (40 gallon aquarium or equivalent) to explore, exercise, and burrow in! They should also have a large wheel to get those zoomies out.

While popular, plastic hamster balls are NOT SAFE for hamsters. They'd much prefer to hang out with you in a playpen or a hamster-proofed space instead.
