My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Kiki!
Kiki is sweet 1-year-old Doberman/cattle dog mix who came in as a stray. She's a petite, shy girl who gets along well with cats, dogs, and people. She has been scared at the shelter and could use a foster or adoptive home to show her the world isn't such a scary place..

More about this shelter

In 1987, an initial attempt was made to organize a local humane society in Caroline County. While this attempt did not succeed, those same dedicated volunteers were not deterred.

From our humble beginnings 30 years ago, to where we are today, we are proud to be called “the little shelter that could”.

We provide service to our community through pet adoption, Rabies Clinics, Trap-Neuter-Return, Pet Pantry, Pet Lost & Found, Re-homing, Intake Diversion, Cremation
