Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Argent, a senior who lived with the same man for 15 years and then had his whole world tipped upside down. This handsome guy is slowly letting people in his circle. With patience from his foster mom after the initial hissy show down, he’ll start sharing his soft meows and curious stares with you. Argent now happily talks with his foster mom and gladly supervises her around the house. Though still warming up to human touch, he has started accepting pets and sitting on the couch next to her. He’s very talkative and has a wide range. As a typical senior he enjoys conversations about the important stuff or is just happy to chat about the weather.
Argent is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Since he’s in a foster home, email adoptions@caspca.org to coordinate a visit—and the best part? His adoption fee is waived!

We ask potential adopters to fill out a matchmaker form. When they are ready to adopt an animal and the form and interview process indicates a good match, we have the adopter sign an adoption contract promising that the animal will receive good physical and emotional care. Fees vary and we often have adoption specials. Fees for senior pets are sponsored. Otherwise, dogs are $100, puppies $150 and up, cats are $75, kittens are $95.
