Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Cher and Sonny were found on a dirt road in Mississippi, running around together. There was nobody around in sight to ask if they had ever seen these two pups. They were taken to a Foster's house where they have been taking very well care of.
Cher loves loves to run around in the fenced play yard with all her dog friends. She is a little shy at first but will warm up with treats. Once she warms up she is definitely the happiest little girl ever. She runs around wagging her tail and looking for things to get into or even explore. Cher loves chasing after the bugs that fly around , thinking they are her friends. Lol! Cher is a very treat motivated girl, so training should not be an issue for her. She is a very loving girl who will cuddle up with you and hang out or if you want to go on a walk through the woods with her, she's up for that as well. Cher will make a great family member for a family who enjoys hanging out but also having fun. We do recommend that she go to a family that has a little bit older kids just so that way they understand they have to go easy with her in the beginning for her to warm up. But again it doesn't take her very long.
Cher can't wait to start the new year off with a new forever family. She has lots of love to give!!! We can promise you that she will make your day with a laugh each day. Apply for her today and make her the happiest girl ever!

More about this rescue
Fetching Hearts Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3), volunteer run rescue that is dedicated to saving dogs who have been abused, neglected or abandoned and finding loving, caring homes for them.
We rely on a network of foster families so that each dog that we pull into the safety of our rescue is placed in a foster home and is no longer confined to a life in a kennel.
We are committed to helping dogs of all ages, breeds and sizes by partnering with shelters and animal control services right here in Connecticut as well as with several high kill shelters in the South.
We do a full assessment of each dog's temperament and health to ensure that we are able to find the most suitable home for them. Every dog is fully vetted - meaning they are up to date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, heartworm negative and micro chipped - before being adopted.
The ASPCA estimates that approximately 3.3 million dogs in the United States enter shelters each year, of which approximately 670,000 are euthanized*. Our goal is to advocate for and provide education about the need for spaying and neutering to eliminate what has become an epidemic of unwanted dogs.*
