My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Clover was brought in by her previous owner.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Clover, an adult canine with a personality that's as endearing as her name suggests. She's a sweet soul, exuding an aura of gentleness that's hard to resist. But don't be fooled by her shyness. Once comfortable, Clover's energetic side shines through, her zest for life infectious. She's curious too, always eager to explore her surroundings, sniffing out new scents, and seeking out hidden treats. Clover is a loyal companion, her love unconditional. She's a friend who will sit by your side, a confidante who will never judge. She's a beacon of joy, ready to illuminate your life with her infectious spirit. Adopt Clover, not just because she needs a home, but because she has an abundance of love to give, and she's ready to share it with you.

At SDHS:
This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
