Prissy is a striking two-year-old with a bold personality and a heart that’s all about her humans. She’s a social butterfly with people, soaking up all the love and attention she can get—but when it comes to other cats, Prissy would rather go solo. Her past experiences fending for herself outdoors likely shaped her preference for being the queen of her castle.

Her curious nature keeps life interesting—she’s the type of cat who has to check out every corner of her domain, just to make sure she’s not missing anything exciting. Prissy is also incredibly quick on her paws, so much so that she’s earned a reputation as a door-dashing pro. Her ideal home would be one without small kids and with people who can stay a step ahead of her when it comes to open doors.

Given time and the comfort of a stable, loving home, Prissy will settle into her new life and realize that the great outdoors doesn’t hold a candle to a cozy spot on the couch. We require an application with references, there is no fee to fill out an application. Once approved a contract for adoption must be signed by the adopter and donation fee paid depending on the age of cat. All applications, contracts and fees are listed on our webpage www.furrr.org The application can be emailed to our adoption coordinator at adoption@furrr.org Please remember we are all volunteers with jobs and families, requests will be answered as quickly as possible.

More about this rescue

FuRRR Feline Rescue, Rehabilitation & Retirement is a non profit 501c3, we are staffed by all volunteers and we are a no kill rescue. We rescue kittens and senior cats, some stay with us for a short time, others may be with us for the rest of their lives. The cats live in a cage free environment, with lots of towers and cubbies to play and hid and lots of love and care from our volunteers. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and have been combo tested.
