Hi my name is Benjamin! I was found by a nice woman outside an apartment complex in Imperial who brought me into the care of Smittens. I get along with both cats and dogs. I’m very affectionate, I talk, I eat well, and I’m gaining weight too! I’m playful and I’ll follow you around like a dog. Trash bags or anything that sounds scratchy attracts me to play! I adapt very easily, I’m social with other humans, and I purr instantly when you pet or hold me. I like to sleep next to you/on your pillow and I don’t mind cuddling with you as well. I would make a great addition to any home!

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
