Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Demi! I was named by my foster after Demi Moore due to my muscular body like when she played a marine in a movie. Plus Demi means half or small. I came from the Feral Cat Coalition with an upper respiratory infection. I am thankful that Smittens was able to take me in and give me the treatment needed to get me back into good health! I’m a beautiful girl and I will play like a maniac alone with my favorite plastic rolly ball, my foster calls me Crazy Lady! I’m super friendly, but I’ve been alone for a month so I really look forward to finding a home where I can play, be loved, and possibly have a playmate.

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
