Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Bijoux! I was rescued with my siblings Bee, Baxter, and Bixby between two walls in a busy medical facility parking lot at 5 1/2 weeks old. It was also in a dangerous area where coyotes are known to be. We were caught one by one by a nice woman who kept us for a few months until we went to Smittens for adoption. I’m a chirper and a talker. In the sweetest way, I will stretch my two front paws up on your shirt, climb up your chest, and will nuzzle you. I’m very loving and affectionate and I especially love my brother, Bixby!

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
