Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Pablo!
Pablo is possibly a Shepherd/Cur mix who appears to be a little over 12 months old. He is tall and lanky and about as handsome as dog as you’ve ever seen. He is about 65 pounds, healthy, and full of energy. He is kind and sweet and affectionate. He is house broken. He loves his foster brother, who is another slightly smaller shepherd/lab mix, and he loves to wrestle and play all day long. Pablo has a bit of separation anxiety but has adapted well to his crate. He’s a little hard and strong on leash but gets better with every walk. He hates squirrels with a passion and expresses some interest in cats. But he loves people and dogs. We take him to sidewalk cafes on Magnolia, and he is very pleasant and easy. All of that said, he is still a big, gangly puppy (we think a little over 12 months, but not sure). He likes to put things in his mouth but is very responsive to correction. He will be a wonderful watch dog, protector, companion. We love him, but he and his foster brother are too much dog for this little house.
To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!
