Remy is an introvert, she came to CMACC as a stray living on the streets of Charlotte all alone. She is timid at first and likes to have a small quiet space to to hide while she gets to know you. Remy needs lots of patience as she needs time to only watch from a distance before she knows it is safe to come out. Once she does she becomes the perfect lap cat who loves to spend hours just sitting with her human. She does not like to explore too much and instead sticks to her safe rooms where her toys and food are. With time she slowly comes out of her shell and will become the queen of the house. She would do very well with a quiet or more mature home where she has the freedom to explore at her own pace.

Remy loves to play. Starting with string toys she will come out of hiding just to play. Eventually she will comfortable playing with any toy she can bat around. Her absolute favorite toy is a cat tunnel. It gives her the space she needs to hide and she pops out to play with her string toy or you hands. Remy`s other joy in life is wet food, while she is normally silent - when she is waiting for wet food she likes to get vocal as she rubs up against you waiting for her favorite treat. Remy has been doing well with the resident cats. Just like with humans she needs other cats to be patient with her. She likes to be the one to chase and can get scared when cats play too hard with her. Over time she starts to relax and will enjoy a playmate
