My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Gypsum
Nicknames: Gypsy and Chipper Gipper
Age: 6 years young
Preferences: Great with kids and dogs; needs to be cat-tested

Meet Gypsum, a beautiful Catahoula and Labrador mix with a heart of gold, who is searching for her forever home. At 6 years old, this sweet girl embodies the perfect senior dog, bringing a gentle and mellow energy to any environment. Gypsum is fully housebroken and walks like a dream on a leash, making her the ideal companion for leisurely strolls. She appreciates the simple joys of life-snuggling up in a soft dog bed, basking in the warmth of your affection, and savoring delicious treats. After coming to New York as a survivor of Hurricane Helene, Gypsum has shown remarkable resilience and sweetness. The staff at the shelter quickly fell in love with her, and it`s easy to see why! If you`re looking for a quiet, loving companion who is great with kids and other dogs, Gypsum could be the perfect addition to your family. This beautiful soul is ready to offer her love and companionship-could you be the one to give her the cozy home she deserves?
