While her histroy is a mystery, every staff member has fallen in love with this little cutie! Penelope is smart, social, and loves to explore. She`s looking for a family that can give her lots of attention and enirchment. Penelope loves spending time with her people, but as a social creature she will need other lady rats to hang out with. Penelope has been a pro at a variety of enrichment: puzzle boxes, pea fishing, and chewing! She will provide you hours of entertainment as long as you keep her occupied! If you have a rat-shaped hole in your heart and want this high maintenance little diva in your life-look no further!Rats are intelligent, energetic, social animals and require a lot of time, attention, and care. *Before coming to the adoption center, we ask that you have a housing unit ready, in case you end up finding an animal you’d like to adopt. Rats need a minimum 24”X24”X24” wire cage with multiple levels for 1-2 rats, bars should be 1/2? apart.
