Hi, I`m Cookie Dough! My world is full of curiosity and play. Every new smell is an adventure, every toy, a thrilling quest. I`m sweet and friendly, always ready to give a wagging tail greeting. I`m also quite energetic, so we`ll have lots of fun together. I can be a bit shy around other dogs, which can make me bark at them, but I`m learning to be braver each day. I can also be nervous of doorways, so because of that it`s best I not live in an apartment. I`m not sure about cats yet, they`re a mystery to me. But I promise, if you adopt me, I`ll be the best friend you`ve ever had. I`m ready to make a lifetime of memories with you. I`m not just looking for a home, I`m looking for a forever family. Will you be mine?

More about this shelter

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
