Hello, my name is Penelope. I’m quite possibly the sweetest girl ever. I love to snuggle and I’m very vocal. I love the sound of my own voice. I will let you know when I’m hungry or when I just want some love. I particularly enjoy sitting on windowsills and watching the birds outside. I also love sitting in front of any heat source and cozying up. I can be left alone, but I will have something to say about it (I will meow at the door for a bit). Beware, when you get home, I get very excited and might slip through your legs (I’m very curious). I’m a lovable cat that would love to join your family and make everyday with you memorable.

More about this shelter

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
