BACKGROUND: Our singing stars were rescued from an RV park in Escondido where they were malnourished and nothing but skin and bones. After lots of TLC in foster care, they are now gorgeous and robustly healthy girls ready to find loving homes!
PERSONALITY: They love their known people and come running when called, ready to give head bumps, be held and cuddled, and then give you sweet kitty kisses. They love to play and are very treat-motivated… yum yum yum. They will play-play-play until they’ve just got to take a nap. ---Linda Ronstadt likes to be held so she can rest her head on your shoulder like a baby: she will purr and snuggle into your neck and ear. Linda does want to get to know her specific people before she will fully show this side of her, so she can seem cautious at first meet, but it’s waiting in the wings and she’ll soon be as outgoing as her sisters. She loves to play with stuffies, ping pong balls, and cat wands. ---Emmylou Harris is so cute. She loves to play with small stuffed mice or fuzz balls she can carry around in her mouth or toss to bat around. Racing around and enticing other cats to play with her is such fun! Emmy will wrap herself around your ankles while giving a very polite little mew to get your attention and is the sweetest kitty with the glossiest satin fur! ---Dolly Parton is the most outgoing of the girls. Give her a little introductory time and then she will be running around, jumping up on your lap, and rubbing on your ankles. Dolly likes wand toys, scratchers, and anything she can pick up to move around.
COMPATIBILITY: They get along well with other cats after a short intro and ideally would each have a kitty companion and playmate (sisters rock!). They fostered with a cat-knowledgeable senior dog and did well; Dolly even gave the dog nose bumps. Respectful children who will treat them gently and give them some time to get acquainted with their new friends should be okay.
