My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***Reese is with a loving family near Flemington, NJ. An application for her adoption can be submitted at socorescue.com. Questions about Reese and/or our adoption event should be sent to socorescue8@gmail.com; please do not call the shelter's number.***

After a man discovered he had an incurable form of cancer, he set out to get all of his affairs in order. Among the things most important to him was finding new homes for the dogs that he and his wife had, which included a litter of eight young puppies. The mom to these pups appeared to be a mix of Dachshund and Lab.

All of pups have been well socialized towards people. They are playful, friendly and very affectionate. They will do very well in a home with other dogs and even children who know how to handle a small puppy. Regardless of which puppy you'd adopt, you'll get one that's full of love and will bring many smiles to your face.

Reese has received her first year "puppy" vaccines with her final round due on Dec 21st. She's also been de-wormed and treated against parasites as well as being started on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. Her adopter must agree to having Reese spay once she reaches 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue. Reese will require all of her house, leash and other basic training.
