How this pet arrived:
Mr. B was transferred in from another animal welfare organization on December 4, 2024.
Why this pet is the one for you:
This is Mr. B! Mr. B is part of our outdoor cat adoption program, which finds placements for cats who aren't suited to living as indoor pets. Mr. B would make an ideal resident for a farm, horse stable, barn or workshop. You can give Mr. B their best life by committing to provide them with shelter, food and water in a safe outdoor area. Mr. B is altered, vaccinated and microchipped and will be adopted to you at no charge. Mr. B arrived with ringworm (a fungal skin infection) and currently does not show any active lesions. Prior to adoption, a consultation with a SDHS veterinarian will occur to further discuss this condition. If you do not currently have barn cats residing on your property then San Diego Humane Society and other cat professionals require adopting 2 to 5 outdoor cats at one time. Cats are more likely to stay at their new home if they have the company and companionship of other cats. Being housed together or near each other during the acclimation period allows the cats to get used to each other. Once released outdoors, the cats will likely look out for each other! Call 619-299-7012 to learn more about adopting this cat and other outdoor cats. Make sure to bring a secure, hard-sided carrier to the shelter to bring this cat home!
