Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Darling little Torie is approx 10mo old, is a tiny 7.5lbs, and she won't get much bigger. She is a very happy, social puppy that loves to get out and meet new people. A socially active home would be great. She is also very wiggly and playful, and loves to wrestle and playi tug with her foster sibling, so another small, playful dog in the home would be ideal, but it’s not required. She must have a person or family that’s want lots of snuggles, though. Torie is a very curious girl that gets very excited when it’s time for outdoor activities. A fenced yard in which she can run and explore would be best. She still needs more leash and manners training but she is very smart and treat motivated so she learns quickly whatever it is you’re trying to teach her. She also needs a little more help before she’s fully potty trained. She loves people of all ages so school age children in the home would be just fine. Because of her young age, she should not be left alone for more than 5-6hr intervals.

Interested adopters should email info@k9rr.org to request an application. Once complete, the application can be returned via email and quickly reviewed. If approved, we then invite potential adopters to visit with one or more of the dogs that interest them. If the meet and greet goes well, we encourage a week long "trial adoption" to ensure a good match. During that week we communicate often and are available for support and guidance, via phone or email, 24/7.
Unless otherwise specified, K9 R&R adoption fees range from $350-$500 and include all vetting and microchip. We also provide ongoing training tips and help as needed, for the life of the dogs.
K9 R&R is a non-profit, volunteer based organization.

More about this rescue
K9 R&R rescues dogs from shelters and other various facilities across the nation, but focusing primarily on those throughout the west coast. In addition, we help re-home family pets of owners who can no longer care for them. K9 R&R assesses and works with every dog prior to adopting them out and continues to provide support to adopters for the entire life of the dog. K9 Rescue & Rehab was founded with the desire to provide a more thorough, inclusive, supportive approach to dog rescue and re-homing. When adopting a K9 R&R dog, you are not only adding a new family member, but are becoming part of an extended family that is always there to support you in hard times and celebrate with you in joyful ones.
